Brightspot FAQ
We're located just east of downtown Olympia within Greenhouse Therapies, a historic 1930s home-turned-office-space with ample parking and lots of light.
We are neurodiversity-affirming...really. We see your child's strengths instead of focusing on their deficits. We believe that communciation = connection, not something achieved with external rewards. We don't see autism or adhd as something to be "fixed," but valued and supported.
Additionally, we are highly skilled and dedicated to our own professional growth and reflection. Therapists at Brightspot have the opportunity to develop their unique strenghts and interests through ongoing professional development, and we'll match your child to the therapist who is the best fit for their unique personality and communication profile.
Finally, we value clarity and connection, and will communicate with you about your child's communcation, strenghts, and therapy goals each step of the way. We provide transparent communciation about expected costs and insurance billing, and we use research-based strategies to help your child move toward their communciation goals as quickly as possible.
We offer pediatric speech and occupational therapy, from 0-18.
